Roy Lindahl knows all about the importance of keeping up with regular preventative maintenance, and the benefits it can reap for your car. He has been a proud Jeep owner for the past 17 years, and recently hit the 400,000 mile mark, surpassing even his own expectations. “It just goes to show that regular care of your vehicle pays off – you get out what you put in,” said Lindahl. He has been taking his Jeep to the shop on a regular basis since he purchased it.

Drivers save money and energy when getting tires checked

Although Earth Day has passed, Repair Shop Websites still encourages you to check your vehicle’s tire pressure due to its impact on the environment and your wallet.  When a tire loses air, more energy is exerted and the tire wears out more quickly.  The driver then has to replace tires more often, which calls for additional energy and money to be spent.

This article states that “the federal government estimates that properly inflated tires can improve fuel efficiency by 3.3 percent, saving drivers about 8 cents per gallon of gasoline.”
